![]() Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 23.7-b01, mixed mode) Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_13-b20) ![]() The application has requested a version of JRE (version 1.6 1.5 1.4+) that is not installed. No request to install Java 6, just a message stating GeoGebra run fine under Java 7 on OSX 10.8.2 :D Though you probably need to install the JDK and not just the JRE, you'll find it there: So the installer probably detect that Java 7 JDK is already installed and just clean up the system. ![]() The Java preference app located in /Application/Utilities has been removed and there's no Java 6 installed on my machine. If you install the Oracle Java JDK (jdk-7u13-macosx-圆4.dmg) and try to run GeoGebra, the system will ask you to install Java 6 but in fact it does not install Java 6, it only fix some links in the system and remove the old Java files I tried downloading JRE-7u13 today with no luck. It anyone had a workaround I would like to hear about it. When Oracle put out a newer update, Apple again remotely blocked it from being used on OSX version 10.8.2 It looks like we will not be able to use GeoGebra on Apple if it uses Java.
